  • Nitrous oxide: More commonly known as laughing gas, this conscious sedation is administered through a nose mask as a vapor and is a mild sedation that wears off quickly after treatment.
  • IV sedation: Applied directly to the bloodstream, IV sedation is a fast-acting sedation that helps relax you during treatment. Though it is a conscious sedation, many patients fall asleep during treatment, which is a normal reaction. You will need a driver to safely take you to and from your appointment.
